The final stretch is here. Rockstar Games released the official Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on Thursday, October 15, five weeks before the game arrives on November 19.

What’s in it:

  • More of Jason and Lucia and the story: an easy score goes wrong and drags them into a criminal conspiracy that spreads across the state of Leonida.
  • New looks at Vice City and the rest of the map, heists and missions, plus a few steamier moments between the two leads.
  • The debut of “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new single from score composers Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It’s also on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which you can pre-save now.
  • Rockstar says the trailer was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5.

It follows Trailer 1 (December 2023), Trailer 2 (May 2025), and the 26-minute Extended Look from this August. GTA VI launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

PPR take: Launch trailers usually mean the marketing push is on and the date is locked. After all the delays, November 19 finally looks real.
