Mortal Online 2 hosts a Keep Siege on the Era of Refinement PTR this weekend
Star Vault wants a full siege on the test branch before Era of Refinement Patch 1 goes live.
In an October 15 announcement, the studio invited players to a hosted Keep Siege on the Mortal Online 2 PTR on Saturday, October 17 at 9:00 PM CEST (3:00 PM ET / 12:00 PM PT).
How the event works:
- Fight at a designated keep on Sarducaa (map posted on the official page)
- Once you’re on the PTR, ask for a teleport to the event in Nave chat
- Attendees split into Attackers and Defenders — one side storms the keep, the other holds it
- Banks, banker NPCs from every Sarducaa town, crafting buildings, and free siege materials are provided on site
- Everyone is welcome; Star Vault says everything required for the siege will be supplied
Why it matters for the patch: The Era of Refinement Patch 1 PTR opened October 14 with the combat and balance pass we covered earlier — hold-to-parry blocking, the Endurance stamina buff, Mental Fortitude, and more. Star Vault is using this siege as a large-scale stress test of those changes and asks players to send feedback through the in-game reporting tool.
How to get on the PTR (per Star Vault): In Steam, right-click Mortal Online 2 → Properties → Game Versions & Betas → select Mortal Online Public Test Realm. Characters reflect the PTR snapshot taken October 14.
PPR take: A scheduled keep fight is the right way to prove the parry and stamina rework isn’t just patch-notes theory. If you’re already on the PTR, this is the weekend to show up with a side and a bug report.
