Valorant’s next Duelist is one sleep away. Hush, the game’s 30th agent and its ninth Duelist, goes live on Tuesday, October 27 with Patch 13.09. Riot revealed her on October 18 with the RISE AND FALL trailer before the Champions Shanghai grand final. She’s a telekinetic operative from China, and her whole kit is built around moving things after she’s already thrown them.

The kit, per Riot’s ability text (as published by Bleeding Cool):

  • Telekinesis (passive): pick up weapons and the Spike, and hit switches, from much farther away than other agents. It sounds minor, but grabbing a dropped rifle or the Spike without stepping into a sightline wins rounds.
  • Flow (C): instantly drop an anchor, then launch toward it after a short delay. Use it in the air and Hush hovers in place for a moment first.
  • Flashbulb (Q): throw it, or prepare it with alt-fire, then reactivate to send it toward your crosshair. It pops on any surface or after a delay and blinds anyone looking at it. Yes, you can curve it around corners.
  • Displacement (E, signature): same throw-and-steer controls. On detonation it drags everyone toward the centre and concusses anyone who hits a wall or another player. It refreshes every two kills.
  • Suspension (X, ultimate): fire a projectile you steer with your crosshair, then detonate it to levitate every player in the area. Floating targets can’t dodge your team’s follow-up.

Things to know before you queue. Riot hasn’t posted the full 13.09 patch notes yet. The game updates page still tops out at 13.08, so exact costs and cooldowns aren’t confirmed. Hush is also the first agent since Riot’s new Agent Mastery system, with her own in-game reward track. Depending on time zone, some Asia-Pacific players will get her on October 28 local time, AllThingsHow notes. Also note that Suspension lifts every player it catches, your own team included. Be careful where you aim it.

PPR take: A flash you can steer around a corner and a pull that slams people into walls will make for some brutal highlight reels. Duelist mains, start practising your crosshair placement.
