One Piece is officially coming to Fortnite with the Treasure Hunters mini-season on November 1

The Straw Hats are on their way. After days of pirate-themed teasers, Epic used its 2 PM ET reveal on Saturday to confirm what fans had been hoping for. The official Fortnite account posted a seven-second clip of the Going Merry, the Straw Hat Pirates’ first ship, rising out of moonlit fog, followed by the Fortnite and One Piece logos. The caption was just three straw hats: ”👒👒👒“.
The details so far
- When: the Treasure Hunters mini-season starts Sunday, November 1, after downtime, when Chapter 7 Season 4 ends. Epic’s earlier teaser called it “The greatest adventure of all! 11.1.”
- Which One Piece: the anime. Polygon notes the Merry’s figurehead matches the animated series rather than Netflix’s live-action version.
- The other crews: an in-game news image ahead of the reveal showed several pirate crew logos, including Peely, A$AP Rocky, Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto and Lil Uzi Vert.
- How long: Polygon expects the mini-season to run about a month before a new chapter begins.
Still unknown: Epic hasn’t said which Straw Hats will appear as skins, whether they’re in the Battle Pass or the Item Shop, or what they’ll cost.
PPR take: One Piece has been near the top of Fortnite collab wish lists for years, and launching it inside a treasure-hunting season is a natural fit. If you’re behind on the current Battle Pass, you’ve got one week.
