He’s burning to meet you. Behaviour Interactive dropped a new teaser of Art the Clown in Dead by Daylight today, grinning in his black-and-white outfit and tiny top hat while he points a lit blowtorch straight at the camera. The caption on the official account read “He’s burning to meet you. PTB 27.10.26,” as Inven Global reports.

What’s confirmed:

  • Test build: the Terrifier Chapter’s Player Test Build (PTB) opens October 27. When fans asked whether that meant the 26th, the account replied, “We can confirm PTB is on October 27th!”
  • Full release: still only November 2026, the window Behaviour gave when it revealed the crossover in June. You’ll see November 12 and November 17 floating around, but Playnews and others note neither date comes from the studio.
  • Still secret: Art’s power, his perks, and whether a Survivor comes with him. The blowtorch is the only hint so far.

The PTB is an optional test version on PC where players can try new Killers before they hit live servers. Behaviour’s roadmap also has a Twitch Rivals stream and the November Days event starting October 30.

PPR take: Art is about as natural a Dead by Daylight Killer as horror has made in years, and a blowtorch reveal the week of Halloween is perfect timing. We’ll be watching the PTB to see how they turn his silent menace into a power.
