Star Citizen's weekly Sneak Peek says "Meditate on this, I will," and an extinguisher race is coming to an unreleased Levski track

“Meditate on this, I will.” That’s the whole caption on this week’s Star Citizen Sneak Peek, the teaser image that closes every Friday newsletter. CIG’s Oct 23 newsletter ends on a top-down render of a square bronze-and-red device. It has a glowing blue sphere at the centre, cyan light lines running around it and four small pods at the corners. There’s no name and no explanation.

What is it? Nobody outside CIG knows yet. The Cavalera daily brief says the image goes by the title “Hyaoklo Meditation Focus” and reads it as a hint at something contemplative rather than combat. Whether that’s an item, a location or a character is still anyone’s guess. Sneak Peeks are meant to start arguments, and this one is working.

The ATMO Social: extinguishers as engines

The same newsletter has a more concrete invite. ATMO esports is hosting an “in-game extinguisher propulsion race” on Saturday, November 14 at 19:00 UTC (2 PM ET, since clocks fall back on November 1). The race runs on an unreleased track at Levski, Nyx. CIG’s pitch: “Extinguishers: not just for emergencies.” Sign-ups are in the event calendar on the ATMO esports Discord.
