Bigby’s back. Telltale and PM Studios launched The Wolf Among Us Remastered digitally worldwide today, October 29, for $24.99 on PC (Steam, including Steam Deck, and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox One, which also plays on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility, according to the launch press release. The Switch versions are coming later, and physical editions are planned for early 2027.

What’s new. All five original episodes are included. On top of that, the remaster restores five fully playable deleted scenes that never made the 2013 release, adds an optional black-and-white Noir Mode, a gallery of more than 100 pieces of artwork and over an hour of developer interviews. Telltale says environments, character detail, lighting, animation and audio have all been reworked, with Trick Studios co-developing.

Your choices carry forward. For the first time, Telltale and PM Studios confirmed that defining choices you make in the remaster will carry into The Wolf Among Us 2 if you sign in to a Telltale Account while you play. If you skip the remaster, you can set your past choices at the start of the sequel instead.

Launch pricing. There’s a 20% launch discount from October 29 through November 12, and owners of the original game on the same platform and account can save up to half off in the same window. On PlayStation, the 20% discount is only for PlayStation Plus members, and the offers don’t stack, per the release. The Steam page is showing the discounted price now.

PPR take: The choice import is the part I care about most. An official confirmation that The Wolf Among Us 2 will remember your season 1 decisions makes this remaster more than a fresh coat of paint.
