Every backer can get on the 4.10.3 PTU now. Wakapedia-CIG posted the patch notes for Alpha 4.10.3 PTU build 13093654 on Tuesday at about 1:15 PM ET, and the thread is titled [All Backers]. That’s a step past last Friday’s All Waves build. The game should show VERSION 4.10.3-PTU.13093654. It’s still the US-only PTU channel with long-term persistence on. The test focus is stability, bug fixes and LTP between PTU builds, plus the Vanduul Incursion missions and the LBCO Skarnov rifle, and the notes now also list IAE (on accelerated schedule) as a focus. If you’re catching up, here’s our story on last Friday’s All Waves build.

Full list of changes: official 4.10.3 PTU patch notes on Spectrum (also on the RSI Devtracker).

The changes that matter most

Hangars bleeding into each other. This is the one CIG calls out twice. The notes say tonight’s build has more technical work on personal hangars visually overlapping, where you could see parts of someone else’s hangar and the ships inside it. It’s listed as a potential fix, and CIG is asking players to report it, and where it happened, if they still see it.

The Prowler Utility finally gets a proper cargo door button. The Esperia Prowler Utility now has a dedicated interaction to open its cargo bay doors. Small change, but if you’ve been hauling with it, that’s a real quality of life fix.

Skarnov ammo in the world. Ammo for the new weapons now spawns in loot and is tagged to show up alongside the weapon it belongs to, so you’re not stuck with a Skarnov and nothing to feed it.

Contracts and the Vanduul Incursion. Potential fixes cover only one PvP law enforcement contract being offered at a time, the Shattered Blade Raid and the Mauler Takedown and Retake Ship contracts showing a placeholder instead of their location, Vanduul wildlines not playing, and the wrong comms call on Board Ship contracts.

Crashes and visuals. CIG lists potential fixes for a client crash tied to the Drake Cutter’s front landing gear, another from plasma LMG ammo, smeared organic surfaces on Vulkan and DX11, some ArcCorp surface buildings with no collision, and broken AR shopping card prices.

Still unknown: CIG hasn’t given a live date for 4.10.3, and everything above is still PTU and can change.

PPR take: Opening the PTU up to all backers is usually a good sign that a patch is getting close, though CIG hasn’t said so and I’m not going to guess a date. The hangar overlap bug is the one I’m watching. Seeing into someone else’s hangar is funny once, but it’s the kind of thing that can’t ship to Live, so it’s good to see them hammering on it. The Prowler cargo door fix is one of those “how was this not already there” changes, and I’ll take it. The IAE line in the test focus caught my eye too, with the expo getting tested on an accelerated schedule on the PTU. If you haven’t had a wave invite yet, now’s your shot. Jump in, break some stuff and send CIG your feedback while it still counts. o7
